From the beginning in 1987 Autumnwood Homes has been committed to designing and building homes that match the needs and desires of their clientele while still meeting their budget constraints. Since the beginning our motto has been “Let us make your dreams affordable”. Our goal has always been to design homes that fit the neighborhoods where they are built while containing features both inside and out that make them stand out in the community. In doing so the future owners can be proud of the home in which they live and know that the quality of their home has been a major consideration from the foundation up to the last detail.

In addition to designing and building single-family homes, we have been involved in building and leasing single-family homes in the central Ohio area for over 30 years. The biggest benefit to this part of the business has to do with the quality of the product. Because we have built new homes and rented them for so long, our customers, through the years, have benefited from the fact that when tenants do move out we have been able to see what features and products do not function and/or hold up over time to the benefit of future buyers and tenants. We have used this information to improve on the products that we include as well as the designs that we offer, often coming up with new designs that further the livability of our homes.

The homes that we build today have improved vastly over the years and will continue to do so as features and products evolve. The partners in this business, Brad Halley and Kim Knoppe, have blended their skill-sets to create a company that has lasted for nearly 40 years. Brad has a background in the design and construction side of the business. Brad has his degree in architecture from The Ohio State University. With his custom, new home hands-on construction field experience and knowledge, Brad has been able to create and oversee the design and construction of every home that he has built since 1986. Kim’s background is in business and finance. His prior experience in the finance side of large Fortune 500 companies has helped him to keep track of the accounting and business side of the company. He has been responsible for the many innovative business strategies and ideas that have guided the company through all the ups and downs of the housing markets and economic roller coasters since 1987.
